guest review: "the room was comfortable and very clean and tidy"

Review by Beth Camman

Frances and Alex made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and very clean and tidy. A generous breakfast was included and we were also invited us to share a meal with their family. We spent a few hours talking and sharing a delicious BBQ- such a great evening to remember.

Even though Tambisaan beach is quite a distance from the main tourist areas of Station 1 ,2 & 3 it is still a very busy place, but with more locals than tourists. We had to make a few trips from Tambisaan beach for meals or shopping and it was always easy to get a tricycle - usually cost 100 pesos each way.

We did not find Tambisaan beach great for swimming as there are so many boats there and also sea urchins that we nearly stood on, so we preferred to take a trike ride to other beaches for swimming eg Puka shell beach and Diniwad beach.

"Frances and Alex arranged a 3 hour private
boat trip from Tambisaan beach for us
at a much cheaper price. We went snorkelling
at several reef areas. It was a great afternoon."

guest review: "the room and home altogether is absolutely beautiful, and if you're looking for the real Boracay . . ."

Review by Melissa Wolfe

Stay here stay here stay here!!! Staying with this family will absolutely MAKE your experience on Boracay. After a very last minute itinerary reroute to Boracay, they seamlessly communicated with me and welcomed me into their home. The room and home altogether is absolutely beautiful, and if you're looking for the "real Boracay,"- the beautiful island that is not just about party tourism- this is the place to be.

The home is situated at Tambisaan beach, which gives you access to swimming directly to the snorkeling site where you'd normally pay an arm and a leg for a tour boat to take you if you were to be down on the touristy part of the island. The area is totally quiet at night and is a great refuge to get a good night's rest in to wake up and take the island in early the next day. Transportation to the more commonly known-by-tourism part of the island is plentiful and very inexpensive (20 pesos), and it's easy and safe to get back home should you want to have a late night out.

Frances, Alex, Cole and Attika are an amazing family, and they are people you should for sure spend some time getting to know. They're super caring and genuinely good people.

If I didn't say it enough from the start, I'll say it again: STAY HERE!!!
